A creative professional and his partner approached Native with a request for a home that would feel both open and protected. Nestled along a forested ridge, the design had to maximize views while preserving privacy.
We worked with the natural slope to create a two-story Passive-inspired structure: the upper floor floats with a cantilevered living space and framed westward sunsets, while the lower level offers studio and guest quarters tucked into the hill.
Materials were selected to mirror the surrounding palette—stone, soft charred wood, and metal. The home captures sunlight year-round and blends seamlessly into the land.
